Our coatings have been used across a wide range of sectors including automotive, construction, marine, mining, rail, utility and water/waterproofing. HISTORY
ShieldCrete® started 6 years ago, first launching in Australia. Since then, we have expanded, with our HQ in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, and offices in the Philippines, Thailand, South Africa and Australia. Our team has survived and grown through our dedication to hard work and supporting our great team with management leading by example.

CEO | Technical Director
With over 25 years in the construction and coating industry, Tad brings extensive experience in almost all market segments in protective coatings, waterproofing, fire and mining. As CEO, Tad leads the ShieldCrete team in bringing new innovations and IP to the market and strives for excellence in the development of new formulations and applications.
CHRIS GALLAGHER
Vice President
With over 20 years’ experience in logistical / operations management, Chris has developed outstanding skills and knowledge bringing cost savings to the mining industry. His experience includes developing and managing contractual functions for multibillion dollar per year companies in several countries around the globe, and 10 years+ experience in Process Plant Shutdown maintenance specializing in Mill Relines globally.
MIKE MCGRORY
Treasurer
Mike’s 28+ years of experience includes managing the operations and maintenance of some of the lowest cost per tonnes/milled and highest utilization process plants anywhere in the world. Mike focuses on increasing the up time of a process plant while optimizing and improving target production areas. All this while at the same time reducing operating costs. He is also a specialist in BioCelerator BC500 & AQ700.
STEPHANIE DE GUZMAN
Managing Director – Philippines
Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience on QA/ITP on mining, construction and project management. Highly adept with engineering processes in both civil and mechanical. Has 7 years exposure with mineral processing for coating maintenance. Has been managing SCS-PH operations since 2018, from logistics, administration, projects and overseeing sales. Acting as Corporate Secretary and part of board of Directors for Philippines.
KEVIN GALLAGHER
Sr. Business Development Officer
Kevin draws on experience across many industries including military, large scale construction, forestry, and mineral processing. Kevin is adept at quickly diagnosing issues, troubleshooting, and implementing an improved process to reduce costs while increasing production output.
KISHORE KUMAR
Technical Group Manager
Kishore has more than 35 years’ experience in high performance industrial coating, construction chemicals and waterproofing chemistry and application. Level 3 coating inspector certified by FROSIO council and Norwegian standard council NS476. Highly adept in pipeline coating, cathodic & anodic protection, dry docking, concrete repairs & protection, and waterproofing.
KAREN CHUA
Admin Officer
Karen is a key member of an ShieldCrete’s administrative team, responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations. She manage a wide range of tasks, including overseeing office management, handling correspondence, maintaining records, and coordinating meetings and events. She often act as the first point of contact within the office, providing assistance to staff and visitors alike.
ROMNICK YUMOL
Graphic & Brand Manager
With 20 years of experience behind him, Romnick manages the branding and marketing materials to ensure compliance with ShieldCrete’s vision. With a strong focus on brand efficiency and uniformity in printed, digital and online marketing materials, he brings with him a background in graphic design, visual merchandising, video editing and 3D visualization.
MICHAEL ERIC LARON
IT Business Strategy and Innovation Manager
Michael assists in the planning, building, and managing of the company’s online web presence to grow brand awareness, website traffic, user retention and educate potential customers. His 18 years’ experience in software tech includes E-commerce, web development, SEO, data analytics, email marketing, and social media.
SIEW LEE KHOO
Accounts Coordinator
With over 20 years of experience in Finance & Accounting’s roles, Siew Lee is assisting Group’s CFO to oversee the financial operations and strategy planning for ShieldCrete’s group of companies, ensuring efficient financial management, compliance, and profitability align with organisational goals. She manages the consolidation of financial statements, analysing the performance of each company and the group as a whole to deliver comprehensive reports to stakeholders.
ROSE JOSEPH
Administration Clerk
Rose Joseph has been a dedicated member of the ShieldCrete® South Pacific team for the past 10 months, gaining valuable experience in data entry, bookkeeping, and customer service. She efficiently manages company records and financial documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting. In addition to her administrative duties, Rose prioritizes customer interactions, consistently responding to inquiries and supporting the company’s marketing efforts. Her role is crucial in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations and contributing to ShieldCrete’s overall success.
